How much does it cost to get a legal document notarized in Dubai?
How much does it cost to get a legal document notarized? In Dubai the total has two parts. The first is our service price for drafting, checking, translating and booking, which starts from AED 200 for a drafting add-on and from AED 600 for a complete affidavit. The second is the government fee the notary charges for the act, paid on top at cost. This page lists both.
We keep the two parts separate on every quote. You see what you pay us for the work on the document, and what you pay the authority for the notarial act. Nothing is hidden inside a single number.

Government fees: what the notary charges
The notary's fee is a government fee. It follows the act, not the price of our service.

A private notary in the federal system may add 30 percent of the prescribed fee as a professional fee (Article 2).
Dubai private notaries
Dubai Courts regulates private notary fees by its own decision: AED 100 per party for registration, AED 100 per signature, and AED 1,000 per trip outside the notary's place of work, as reported by the Dubai Media Office.

MOFAIC attestation is AED 150 for a personal document and AED 2,000 for a commercial document.

A NOC for a child visa, signed by the father
Our service from AED 1,200, plus the notary's fee for one party. Under the federal schedule that is AED 200 for a signature authentication or AED 300 if drafted as an affidavit.
A board resolution with no stated value, signed by two directors
Our service from AED 2,000, plus AED 200 per party under the federal schedule for authenticating signatures on an instrument of unspecified value.
A will
Our service from AED 4,000, plus the registration fee of the registry you choose.
Cost of making a will in the UAE
What does it cost to have a will made in Dubai? Our will writing service starts from AED 4,000 for a single will. Board resolution notary price, and addendum to MOA fees
A board resolution starts from AED 2,000 with us. The notary's fee depends on whether the resolution states a value: an instrument of unspecified value is charged per party, one with a value by the bands above. An addendum to an MOA starts from AED 600 with us, and the notary charges by value in the same way. The licensing authority, such as the Department of Economy and Tourism or a free zone, may charge its own fee to record the change. A company power of attorney, such as a company management power of attorney, starts from AED 1,500 with us, plus AED 100 per party under the federal schedule.
Notary fees for an agreement in Dubai
A contract or agreement is charged by value under the federal schedule: AED 200 per party under AED 50,000, AED 300 per signature from AED 50,000 to 100,000, and 0.5 percent above AED 100,000 with the caps shown. In Dubai, a private notary charges registration and signature fees under the Dubai Courts decision. A legal notice or an eviction notice starts from AED 2,000 with us, plus the notary fee for the act. See contract drafting and notarization.
What changes your price
- The number of signatories. Most notary fees are per party or per signature.
- Translation. Pages that need a legal translation, and a per page fee if the translation is notarised with the instrument.
- Urgency. Urgent handling is an add-on.
- A visit. A private notary's trip outside their office is AED 1,000 under the Dubai decision.
- Attestation for use abroad.
What is not included
Our service price does not include government fees, registry fees, embassy or consulate fees, or courier charges unless you add them. We list each one on your quote.

Why are your prices "from" prices?
Because the work depends on the document. A two line NOC and a NOC for separated parents with a custody order take different amounts of drafting. We confirm the final price before you pay.
Can the price be negotiated?
Yes. Every service price we quote is a starting price, and you can negotiate it.
Is the notary fee refundable if the signing does not happen?
Government fees follow the authority's own rules.
Do I pay the government fee to you or to the notary?
We pass it through at cost and show it as a separate line.
Where are certified true copy prices?
